How these guides are verified
Each guide is built from destination facts, not from a generic import checklist. Tariff lines and duty notes are read from the market's published tariff database. Regulator and notification routes come from the competent authority for cosmetics or food, as that authority publishes them. Transit ranges are read from carrier schedules to the named ports. Customs clearance notes come from the national customs administration.
Tariff lines and duty notes are re-checked every six months. Other regulatory and logistics facts are re-checked every twelve months. Every guide shows a Last reviewed date and lists the sources used. If a fact cannot be verified against a primary source, that sentence is omitted. The page does not guess a duty, a registration path or a transit day.
The same in every market
The first six digits of the tariff line are HS 1515.90 in every market. That heading is explained on the exporting shea butter from Nigeria overview. EMI Agro loads at Apapa (Lagos) and Tin Can Island (Lagos). The Nigerian export-side registrations and certificates — NEPC, Form NXP, NESS, NAQS — are the same for every destination and are walked in how to import shea butter from Nigeria. What changes by country is the national extension of 1515.90, the regulator, the document list at arrival and the transit range to the discharge port.
