Shea Butter Certificate of Analysis: What EMI Agro Reports

A Certificate of Analysis is the batch-specific lab report. The table below is the parameter list EMI Agro reports on every finished batch. Request a current batch COA for measured values.

Summary

A shea butter Certificate of Analysis is the batch-specific lab report that states the measured value of each quality parameter against the agreed specification. EMI Agro issues one for every finished batch, tested to NIS 571:2013 using AOCS and ISO methods, covering free fatty acid, peroxide value, moisture, melting point and the identity parameters.

What a shea butter COA is

A Certificate of Analysis is not a generic specification. It names a batch, the grade, the methods used, and the measured values. A buyer compares those values to the agreed limits — not to a brochure range.
